Twenty-five years later

Collage of Climax live, with the logo and the pin-upClimax were born in Lecce and in the ’90s helped set Salento’s punk hardcore scene on fire.

A fast, raw, uncompromising sound, raised on Californian punk rock but rooted in Italian life.

Now they’re back, with no nostalgia. The lyrics are in Italian: everyday stories, neighbourhood life and social contradictions, told with irony, sarcasm and blunt language. Live, they already play fifteen new songs, for an album in the works.
